Tower of Babel – American Style

The Bible tells us of an ancient world filled with people who had a
high level of technical ability. They knew how to make metal tools and
build cities. The Bible then tells us how these people were scattered
at the Tower of Babel. Of course, evolutionists routinely deride this
Biblical account as nonsense, claiming that ancient people were
primitive and that they progressed over time to the present level. Now
the evidence, long suppressed, is coming out supporting the truth of
the Genesis story.
For decades the evolutionists proclaimed as a fact that America had
been settled by technologically primitive Asians crossing from Siberia
to Alaska on the Bering Strait land bridge. All the while ignoring the
evidence that ancient people had the ability to build ships and
navigate long distances.
In the cover story of Newsweek , April 26, 1999, it has finally
been publicly admitted that what professional
archaeologists have known for years: America was settled thousands of
years ago by waves of immigrants from Europe and Africa, as well as
from Asia. The evidence is clear that after Babel there was
trans-Atlantic ship travel as ancient people settled in both North and
South America.
These early immigrants were great engineers who built huge cities and
pyramids, similar to those found in the Middle East, as well as being
excellent astronomers who could predict both solar and lunar eclipses.
They were not the primitive "stone age" people so often depicted in
books and movies.
All of the evidence supports and is consistent with the Biblical
account of the early earth, except for the evolutionists' claims as to
the dates for these occurrences. Keep one thing in mind, though, when
reading or hearing evolutionists' stories, NONE of the dates claimed by
the evolutionists are based on written records , but are only
speculations based on such things as pottery shards, arrow heads and
carbon dating. No written record, other than the Bible, is older than
approximately 4,500 years old. Once again consistent with the Genesis
account of the early earth and the dispersion of the people at Babel as
they began new civilizations around the world.
Many times I have been asked, "Do evolutionists really suppress the
facts that are contrary to what the evolutionist establishment wants to
hear?" The answer is yes, because those who say what isn't popular with
the evolutionist establishment can get punished. On page 56 of the
Newsweek article is the quote, "Four or five possible pre-Clovis sites
in South America were never reported because the scientists feared that
doing so would wreck their reputations." (emphasis added) This
admission reveals the pressure used to suppress the evidence that
doesn't support the evolutionists story.
