Why It Matters! The Nobel Prize for a Really Sick Joke
Most of the time the Nobel Prizes in Science are for carefully researched and well-established discoveries, such is not the case with the junk science that the 2011 Nobel Prize in Physics was given for. The Prize was given for the so-called “discovery” that the Universe was accelerating in its expansion. All of the so-called “discoveries” related to the Big Bang are actually just speculations based on assumptions.
The first speculation is that the Universe is expanding at all. This speculation is based on the assumption that the red shift in distant stars is proof that the stars are moving away from both each other and us. Halton Arp and other astronomers have proven that the red shift doesn’t necessarily mean that the star or galaxy is moving away from the Earth. In addition to this some stars and galaxies are blue shifted which would mean that those stars are moving towards us.

RED SHIFT
Interpretation of the red shift is based on the belief that the light of distant galaxies is being stretched out as distant stars recede from us. This stretching of the light produces what is called the Doppler effect and results in lowering the frequency of the light, making the light appear redder.

While the red shift is real, what it actually means is not at all clear. Added to this assumption is that a change in the red shift indicates an acceleration in the stars speed. But lack of actual scientific proof has never been a problem for evolutionists or apparently for the Nobel Prize committee.
True science is the search for truth about the natural world wherever that may lead. Sadly much of modern science has deteriorated into distorting the facts of science in defense of evolutionism.
