Why It Matters! X Men Revisited
A new X Men movie has recently been released and not surprisingly it does what it can to promote the religion of evolutionism. In one of the ads for the movie one of the characters states that they, the X Men, are the next step in human evolution. Whether in a movie or in a textbook this is the kind of nonsense that passes for science when it comes to evolutionism. Are there real X Men? Yes, of a sort. The human race has approximately 4000 mutations in it. Most of these mutations are benign like red hair and male pattern baldness. Those that produce significant changes, the kind that the X Men talk about, are things like muscular dystrophy, sickle-cell anemia, cystic fibrosis, etc. These life-changing mutations never produce supermen; they produce crippling, even deadly diseases.
Evolutionists like to routinely claim that mutations are the “engine of evolution”, the problem for them is that this engine is going in the wrong direction. While mutations can produce new traits, they can never produce new information, which is what is necessary for evolutionism to be true. Since all of the facts are against them, evolutionists are reduced to promoting their religion thru misinformation in movies and TV programs.
