Why It Matters! Goodbye to the Big Bang?
On August 7, 2011 the Discovery Channel launched a new series called Curiosity. The first program was titled “Did God Create the Universe?”. Considering that the Discovery Channel only promotes hard-core evolutionism, it was no surprise that the host was committed atheist and evolutionist Stephen Hawking. Stating that science “proves” that the Big Bang is how the Universe got here and that the laws of nature were unbreakable therefore we can now know that there is no Creator God. Like all such evolutionist logic, it ignores both science and logic.
It is more than a little ironic that as evolutionist Stephen Hawking was announcing his complete faith in the Big Bang, other evolutionists are preparing to toss it out. The cover story of the April 2011 edition of the evolutionist magazine Scientific American was “Quantum Gaps in the Big Bang – why our best explanation of how the universe evolved must be fixed or replaced”. The story tells of the growing number of reasons why the Big Bang does not match with reality.
One thing to remember about the Big Bang story is that it was only accepted by the evolutionist establishment since the 1960’s. Before that the Steady State Universe was promoted as absolute fact and anyone who doubted it was dismissed as an ignorant boob. The Big Bang story has been constantly revised since the 1960’s and when the Big Bang is eventually abandoned; it will simply be replaced by a different story.
The real lesson of the Big Bang story is that evolutionist nonsense always fades away. For fifty years evolutionists like Stephen Hawking have been proclaiming with absolute certainty the latest evolutionary story is rock solid, until they toss it out. No ones happiness, future or salvation can be built upon the shifting sand of the latest fad. Only God and His Word can truly be depended upon.
