The Ice Age: More Than Just a Movie - The facts about the Ice Age
There have now been several Ice Age movies that are quite funny at times, but unfortunately they are also used to promote evolutionism. The facts about the Ice Age are actually quite straightforward to those who look at the facts.
The Ice Age was a time shortly after the Genesis Flood; about 4500 years ago, when approximately 30% of the Earth’s land surface was covered in continental sized glaciers. The evidence for an Ice Age consists of glacier moraines; the rubble pushed along by the glacier, but left in place when the glacier melts. Glacier created lakes caused by the movement of the glaciers digging holes in the ground that became lakes and striations, scratches on the rocks caused by the glacier scraping rocks against each other.
The Ice Age started approximately 20 to 50 years after the Genesis Flood and lasted approximately 700 years, It was caused by the oceans being warmed by the Genesis Flood which created massive evaporation which caused massive amounts of snow and rain to fall. The snow built up in the extreme Northern and Southern latitudes, which caused the glaciers to form. For several centuries the glaciers moved towards the Equator until in North America it got as far as central Illinois. The facts make it clear that there was exactly one Ice Age caused by the Genesis Flood.
Evolutionists like to talk about multiple ice ages occurring over a period of millions of years. The facts regarding one Ice Age is clear, the rest of the “ice ages” are just stories dictated by evolutionists faith in evolutionism.
