Whither Goest the Big Bang?
All truth is God’s truth and where you start out will determine where you end up. Two recent stories on astronomy make this point abundantly clear. One article in the evolutionist magazine Scientific American titled “The End of Cosmology – evidence of the big bang is disappearing as the universe expands”; the other is a New York Times article called “Dark, Perhaps Forever”. These articles are about the frustration of evolutionist astronomers regarding the Big Bang.
Evolutionists claim that the Big Bang happened about 14 billion years ago and that the Universe has been developing slowly since then. But both articles tell how the so-called evidence for the Big Bang is quickly disappearing. Like so many of the stories that the evolutionists have invented, they want it both ways. They want us to believe that it has taken billions of years for the Universe to develop into its current state, but that it is now speeding away from us so quickly that much of the Universe will soon be out of sight.
All of their storytelling is built upon interpretations, speculations and assumptions. Which is why they have to invent such things as dark matter, dark energy and quantum strings. There will come a day in the future when the Big Bang will be abandoned by the evolutionist establishment when the evidence against becomes to great to ignore. What will be fascinating to watch when that happens is how those who have compromised the Bible with evolutionism will deal with it when their theology built on the evolutionist speculation called the Big Bang disappears. Those of us who place our faith in the unshakeable Word of God need never be concerned that any aspect of God’s Creation will ever contradict any part of God’s Bible. Where you start out will determine where you end up.
