All Truth is God’s Truth, The Roots of “Science Hatred”
In the August 2007 edition of the evolutionist magazine Scientific American in the psychology section is an article titled “Roots of Science Hatred”. In the article researchers at Yale University state that children develop fundamental assumptions about how the world operates at a very early age and those assumptions continue into their adult life. Of course the researchers could have saved themselves a lot of time and money if they simply consulted the Bible. In Proverbs 22:6 it tells us to “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” To train up a child though is not to merely tell them Bible stories, it means to get them prepared to face both those within as well as those outside the church that are hostile to God and their faith.
Although the article is supposedly about the roots of “science hatred” the authors make it clear that what they are really writing about is opposition to evolutionism. The authors are also unintentionally giving very good advice to parents and pastors, the sooner and the better that they start teaching the facts of Creation, the better equipped children will be in their ability to resist the lies and distortions of evolutionism. All truth is God’s truth, even when it quite unintentionally comes from evolutionists.
