If You Can’t Find It, Invent It!
In an article in the February 2007 edition of the evolutionist magazine Scientific American is an article titled “The Universe’s Invisible Hand” in which numerous claims about so-called “dark energy” are made. The one thing the authors of this article can’t do is show that “dark energy” actually exists. About 100 years ago evolutionist astronomers noticed that distant stars appeared to be redder than they expected them to be. They interpreted this as evidence of an expanding Universe and invented the Big Bang story. When astronomers actually studied the Universe though they found out that reality did not fit their story, so they began to invent things. When there wasn’t enough matter in the real Universe to match their fictional Big Bang Universe, they invented “dark matter”. When they came to believe that the Universe’s rate of expansion was increasing, they invented “dark energy”.
Like so many things invented by evolutionists, when reality doesn’t fit their story, they just make up their own reality. It is because the evidence against the Big Bang is increasing, that even many evolutionists are beginning to look for a replacement story of the Universe’s origin.
