In the Beginning was Information
One of the great accomplishments of modern science has been the
progress made in genetic science. As more is learned about the
incredible complexity of genes, the more the hand of God is seen. The
genetic code, using the genetic “alphabet” of adenine, guanine,
cytosine and thymine, is the most complex and compact information
storage system in the world. It is the best single evidence of design
in the Universe. But before God could create the heaven and the earth,
He had to have the information on how to do it. For an all-knowing God,
that of course is no problem. But how can evolutionists explain how
dead chemicals, with very low information content, conjured up DNA with
an extremely high information content? In the real Universe information
flows from the greater to the lesser, but evolutionists would have
people believe that in the past it went from the lesser to the greater.
It is just another example of evolutionist fantasy getting in the way
of true science.
Another great advance of true science has been modern medicine. It
wasn’t that many years ago that a simple infection could lead to death.
That almost never happens today, primarily because of the medical
research of Creationist Louis Pasteur, a Bible believing Christian. It
was out of a Christian worldview that Pasteur came to realize that
germs can make people sick and as long as that Christian worldview was
adhered to, medical research progressed rapidly. It was when the
fairytales of evolution were injected into medical research that it was
slowed down. The best example of this is in the research on the purpose
of human organs.
Since the religion of evolutionism preaches that we descended from
apes, evolutionist medical researchers promoted the idea that humans
are simply a collection of parts that had accidentally evolved over
millions of years, rather than a deliberate design of God. With that
idea in mind, evolutionists would look at a human organ, and if they
couldn’t figure out what it did, they would classify it as a vestigial,
leftover, organ from our evolutionary past. At one time evolutionists
had classified over 100 human organs as useless leftovers. These
so-called leftovers included such organs as the adrenal gland, tonsils
and appendix. What all of this was really doing was showing the level
of their own ignorance, for all of the organs once classified as
leftovers have been proven to be fully functional parts of the human
body. The appendix for instance is part of the immune system, most
important to the very young and decreasing in importance as a person
ages. We see the same thing happening in DNA research today.
As DNA researchers have mapped out the genetic sequence, they have
found that certain sections of DNA do not code for the proteins that
are a main function of genes. Since these genes did not do what these
researchers had expected, they quickly labeled them as “junk” DNA,
claiming they are a useless leftover of our evolutionary past.
Evolutionist arrogance knows no bounds, but fortunately it does have
limits, the truth. As more is being found out about DNA, the functions
of non-coding genes is becoming clearer as part of the architecture of
DNA. The mysteries of DNA are only slowly being discovered, but one of
the things that becomes clearer with each new discovery is that God
didn’t make junk. Just as some human organs were once labeled as
useless, until the truth about them became known, so too will the
evolutionist claims of “junk” DNA be shown for what they really are, a
testament to their ignorance and arrogance. Examples like this show
that evolution is not only not true science, it is really
anti-knowledge.
