And the Tide Gets Higher and Higher
One of the mantras of evolutionists is that “virtually every scientist in the world believes the theory to be true”. That, like so much else they say, is a lie. This was made clear with the release on February 20 of a statement by over 500 doctoral scientists expressing their skepticism about the contemporary theory of Darwinian evolution. The statement reads: “We are skeptical of claims for the ability of random mutation and natural selection to account for the complexity of life. Careful examination of the evidence for Darwinian theory should be encouraged.”
The list of signatories include scientists from the US and Russian National Academy of Sciences as well as from institutions such as MIT, UC Berkeley, Princeton, The Smithsonian and Cambridge University. The signers hold doctorates in biology, physics, chemistry, medicine and more.
“Darwin’s theory of evolution is the great white elephant of contemporary thought,” said Dr. David Berlinski, one of the original signers, a mathematician and philosopher of science with Discovery Institute’s Center for Science and Culture. “It is large, almost completely useless, and the object of superstitious awe.”
Even some Universities are getting out of the censorship business and into real education. Knox and Cornell Universities have both offered courses on Intelligent Design. No matter how the issue is presented in the classroom, the fact that the classes are even offered is a victory. The cornerstone of the religion of evolutionism’s control of public institutions is censorship and intimidation. The true believers in evolutionism are not going to go quietly into that good night. Evolutionists are going to fight tooth and nail against allowing any kind of free exchange of ideas.
